Dec 11, 2011: Registration for FoIKS 2012 is Open now.

Nov 23, 2011: We are pleased to announce that 20 papers (12 regular and 8 short presentations) have been accepted for FoIKS 2012. A list of all Accepted Papers has also been released.

Nov 22, 2011: Thomas Eiter (Vienna University of Technology, Austria) has been confirmed as invited speaker.

Nov 13, 2011: We are pleased to announce that the ASL Executive Committee has approved ASL sponsorship of FoIKS 2012. Among other things, ASL sponsorship permits student ASL members to apply for (limited) ASL travel funds.

Sep 28, 2011: Submission deadlines have been extended; papers are due Oct 21!

Sep 23, 2011: András Benczúr (Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Hungary) has been confirmed as invited speaker.

Aug 15, 2011: In line with previous FoIKS symposia, after FoIKS 2012 authors of selected papers will be asked to prepare extended versions of their papers for publication in a special issue of the journal Annals of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence.

Jul 08, 2011: Thomas Schwentick (TU Dortmund, Germany) has been confirmed as invited speaker.

July 2011: The Web-site for FoIKS 2012 goes live.
